Goodbye for now, my friends.

As my previous post said, I will be leaving the metaverse for now, due to real life issues.1 It’s become too big for me to even have one silent hour for myself, even on Habbo. Sorry guys for leaving, though I will come back the minute my first life is balanced, and I will have some moments of peace thinking, my next year in school is safe :) . I would like to say a few things about Vint2, before I leave: 

Vint, I want you to have the car. (Nah, just kidding! ;) )

Vint, thank you for being such a wonderful friend from the main grid, even if we’re remote in both lives in terms of location3 and age4 :) . I thank you for all the help you gave me, the kindness and friendliness, and especially, for being so great! ;) .Until we meet again! ;)

UPDATE @ 03:10 UTC+2 10th of December: Vint, i’m not mad at you! It’s OK! It just came to me all of a sudden back then ‘^_^. I tend to react badly to big, sudden changes…

UPDATE @ 21:28 UTC+2: Way to go, Vint! I just recieved a reply from Vint saying this was a joke. So, I just embarrassed myself in front of, well, the metaverse! >.>

Just like real life photos, you have rights associated to your virtual self. Explained in this post on News.com, you have the same rights you have when you’re featured in an unpleasant picture or video. So, you can take it down, in a SNAP!. Here’s the story:

Vint got ruthed in the opening of SLart at the Cannery: A Different Light, and Sho took the snapshot and uploaded it to Flickr. As much as I kinda like it, Vint didn’t, and asked Sho kindly to take it down. Sho refused meanfully, and even wrote a blog post, dedicated to the photo, here. Vint found a “Nipplegate” photo of Sho, which I will post right in a second, and the war between the two began. As a friend of Vint’s, i’m on her side, banning SLart at the Cannery from making a teen grid appearance through DuoGrid, making them go through a painful, up-to-6-months process involving age verification, simulator set up, permission from Linden, and inworld advertising, until they settle this.

Haha, actually looks as if Sho said “Oops, my boob fell, wanna get funky??” :D

Oh, and don’t give me that “Mature” crap, virtual “art” is PG13 or else no user-created animations would exist on our grid.

My awesome Main Grid friend, Vint Falken, just had her first Rezday. Happy Rezday, Vinty! I hope you can wait 4 years for your gift from me, that will stack up during the years, or if you’re a Linden currently reading this, do comment saying you’ll deliver her gift! ;) .

She also (after notifying her about it ;) ) wrote up my part with her in the ‘flashbacks’, during April 2007 when the first (unfortunately unremembered) Flickr Mails were sent :) . After seeing that creative idea, i’ll do it myself as well, 24th June 2008, when my next Rezday strikes :) .

Teachers strike! Woot!!! *faint*

Well, the rage and warning will finally come to a BIG start. The “Irgoon” (Hebrew for “Organization”) has come to a big strike, that will probably be a few weeks. During that time, we have shrinked down time tables, from 1 to 3 hours per day ONLY!. *faint* We used to have about 36 hours usually, but now due to the strikes we’ll have a max of 18 ONLY!*.

So, now I gots’ more time for development stuff and games ;) . WHOO!!! :D .

Update: It appears they’ve released one for the entire week. *Awww*

* Teachers (don’t) have the rights to be bitches and add us another hour on any day. We also (don’t) have the rights to take a pistol or shotgun to school and shoot them. Rofl.

    2. Torley Linden – Must be weird to see someone that has a Linden friend ‘^_^. Still, I subscribe to his blog, we sometimes talk by email, I follow him and me on Twitter hehe, I call that best friend due to his kindness and personality ^.^ .

Not here? Don’t worry, I have alot of friends in the usual conditions of “best”, just that these are a bit higher on the lil ol’ Sims-2-like friendship meter ;) .
