“Safety in Second Life” — New Podcast

Heya readers, after seeing a new TV program called “Someone Somebody Is Following Watching You”, it amazed me like, well, hell O.O .

I will be starting a new Podcast to address the safety in SL, so people will know what they’re up against in the 21st century ‘^_^ . Did you know you can have your entire life biography placed on someone’s desk in 4-6 hours, if you give them your phone number? ID number? Name? O.O . In addition, the “Internet Standard” has been broken “so-last-year”.

There’s this hacker, that said within 3 days, he managed to log in as the “Bank Owner” for a certain bank, and literally do whatever he wishes to do? He could’ve taken all deposits by one click. Literally.

Right now i’m not getting ideas, but one is up, and it’s big. Though most of the “New SLers” type of Residents know this already, your SL key is a fine way to track your real life info, including financial status, exact location, family status, any arguments you’ve had with people (of course, not the small ones  . As in, not talking to XXXXX, overheard, etc.), anything and everything can be printed on a small piece of paper, by a simple touch of using a LibSL bot, malicious script, or simply being there when you do something UUID-related.

Stay subscribed! :D .

P.S.: This Podcast will also be available in iTunes, as soon as I can manage to get an account, hehe. I have a way… Kinda ;) .
